The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join their team. This role involves working in a bustling environment, primarily managing patient check-ins, collecting IDs and demographic information, and handling pre-registration processes. The candidate will interact with a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to the elderly, and will play a critical role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.Key Responsibilities Greeting patients upon arrival with a smile and collecting IDs and demographic information. Pre-registration and reviewing patient charts to ensure all necessary information is collected. Assisting with patient collections for payments such as copays and deductibles. Scheduling patient appointments and managing referrals. Supporting phone lines for patient questions, appointment confirmations/cancellations, and referrals. Working with a team of 10-11 Patient Services Coordinators, alongside 6-8 up front.Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of medical office exposure is required. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred. Comfort in using any EMR system is considered a plus.Skills Experience with SRS / Next Tech EMR & practice management platform. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work as a part of a team. Proficiency in multitasking and handling a fast-paced environment effectively.Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
