CT Program Manager

Job Summary Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and technical management of CT program staff. Provides direction and professional feedback and training to the CT team and program. Does this position require patient care? Yes Essential Functions Supervises licensed clinicians and/or student interns and other staff working in the program. Participates in staff hiring, work allocation, training, performance management, including required documentation, as well as other supervisory functions. Supports and guides technologists, technicians and other staff to ensure high quality clinical care of patients. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations. Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials: Radiologic Technologist [MA] required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred Computed Tomography (ARRT) [ARRT-CT] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required Experience: Hospital/Clinical Setting Experience 5-7 years required and Radiological Experience 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledgeable in radiologic technology and other therapies and modalities. Detailed knowledge of and operational skills of sophisticated computer equipment. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients, their families and staff. Display strong leadership and communication skills to clearly manage and oversee program staff. Possess a high level of technical expertise in radiologic technology to problem solve complex issues.
