About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities: Customer Sales & Profit Support the total OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to guidelines. Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with your Department Manager. Ensure excellent customer service and active promotion of products and initiatives like the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability programs. Maintain correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges. Handle administrative routines accurately for people and operations. Fashion & Trend Awareness Stay updated on fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers. Provide product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development Share knowledge and skills with the team. Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers and other store colleagues. Give and receive feedback for mutual development. Communicate regularly to motivate and inform the team. Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements. Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution Keep the sales floor and stockroom tidy and well-maintained. Ensure high-quality visual presentation and garment care. Manage stock levels and contribute to allocation decisions. Oversee the full garment cycle and fitting routines according to standards. Maintain in-store tech services and tools. Ensure consistent pricing signage and store presentation. Keep BOH areas organized and up-to-date. Responsible for opening and closing the store daily.
