With over 300 employees, we're proud to deliver innovative, customer-first solutions across every stage of the ownership lifecycle.Position OverviewAs an Automotive Porter, you will support dealership operations by managing vehicle inventory processes, transportation, quality control, and lot organization. This role works cross-functionally with various departments and ensures vehicles are ready for sale through adherence to MEI Group's reconditioning and inventory management standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inventory reconciliation, including verifying window and federal stickersConduct vehicle receiving, check-in, cosmetic inspections, and photo documentation (12-20 quality photos)Move vehicles efficiently through the reconditioning process in accordance with MEI Group's process and mapping standardsMaintain lot cleanliness, interior/exterior facilities, and vehicle organization using MEI's 5S standardsTransport vehicles to/from various locations and support reconditioning workflowClear out customer belongings from repossessed vehicles per policySupport the delivery and transport of vehicles and personnel as neededPerform quality checks and drive cyclesDeliver exceptional customer service and maintain accurate inventory recordsAdhere to dealership safety procedures and support a clean, organized working environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentGeneral mechanical knowledge (e.g., jump-starting and driving vehicles)Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accuratelyEffective verbal communication and customer service skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentRequirementsValid Driver's LicenseAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAvailability for extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed (50-hour workweeks possible)Must wear MEI Group-provided attire during work hoursBackground check and eligibility to work in the U.S.Compensation & ScheduleCompensation: Based on experienceSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Saturdays required)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysPerksAccess to a fully equipped onsite gym at our corporate office in ArlingtonWhy Join MEI Group?At MEI Group, we believe in doing things the right way-with transparency, accountability, and respect.
