Role Summary:
Sylvan Learning Centers is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Brand Marketing Coordinator to support and enhance our brand presence across our network of learning centers. This role will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives that drive brand consistency, support franchisee success, and increase awareness of Sylvan’s mission to help students succeed. The ideal candidate is an organized multitasker who is passionate about education, marketing strategy, and creative storytelling.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the execution of brand marketing campaigns that align with Sylvan’s mission, visual identity, and voice across digital and traditional channels.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce branded materials including print collateral, email campaigns, social content, and in-center signage.
Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees regarding brand marketing needs and resources.
Assist in the planning and deployment of localized marketing strategies that support enrollment goals while maintaining national brand standards.
Manage project timelines and deliverables across multiple campaigns, ensuring consistency and timely execution.
Help develop social media content calendars and support digital engagement strategies to connect with families and promote Sylvan success stories.
Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance and provide reporting and insights for ongoing optimization.
Maintain brand assets and manage marketing resources within internal systems, ensuring accessibility for key stakeholders.
Organic Social Media
Monitor/respond to social media comments/messages on corporate FB/IG pages in Meta Schedule organic corporate FB/IG posts in SOCi Own corporate organic social calendar Help centers connect IG pages to FB upon request (this can only be done by corporate users) Add new Admins to local center FB pages
New Center onboarding
Send digital marketing links to new centers
Voice of the Customer (VOC)
Add new centers to dashboard Resales/relocations/closures
MARC
Upload new creative in Local Marketing folders Add new users to platform
Local Marketing Bundles
Add organic Social/GMB/center website posts for all centers who opt into a promotion
Day-to-day center marketing support/questions Assist with building presentation decks for our monthly “Tactical Tuesday” marketing webinars, to train our system of Franchisees and Center Directors on seasonal marketing tactics Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 2+ years of experience in brand marketing, content creation, or marketing coordination, preferably in a franchise or education environment. Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing strategy, and customer engagement. Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, etc.). Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Passion for helping families and students succeed through educational services. Willingness to travel occasionally to support center openings or brand activations.
