Position Summary
Develop and implement educational and recreational activities at assigned Playground Recreation Program sites; ensure the safety and physical well-being of the children and provide responsible support to higher level staff.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
This is an unclassified at-will position.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements High school diploma or GED supplemented by forty-eight (48) credit hours from an accredited college or university to include fifteen (15) non-remedial hours in Math and English. Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.

Perform a variety of educational activities Administer minor first aid as needed Maintain and update accurate and detailed records Utilize computer software programs Respond to requests and inquiries from the general public Communicate clearly and concisely Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work including City Officials and general public Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
