Major Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, and other networking equipment. Configure and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, WSUS, VPN, and VLANs to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and related software applications including SQL databases. Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity. Implement and enforce security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, malware, and other cyber threats. Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, promptly resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 3+ years of relevant experience. Minimum Competencies: Knowledgeable in industry best practices for computer system security Experience with SQL database management, backup, and data extraction Ability to work in a hands-on environment with other team members Network management experience, including VLAN with VoIP and Data VLANs Experience with Cisco / Juniper Switches, VMware / Nutanix, and Backup systems Practical knowledge of Hyper-converged technologies and Hypervisor technologies Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
