You will be provided with the tools needed to thrive.We are seeking a highly motivated Manual Machine Operator at our Zelienople, PA facility. This position performs measuring operations within the scope of operations for all equipment. We need someone with a solid mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, with the ability to proficiently read detailed drawings, blueprints, machining procedures, and shop travelers. This team member will be on 1st Shift and will work M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.This position will report directly to the Machine Shop Group Leader. What you'll do•Review project assignments/instructions from Team Leader.•Review drawings and machining requirements for this job.•Obtain an understanding of the task and develop an action plan.•Set up lathe machines, Keyseater machines, milling machines, saws, drill presses and I.D. grinders, as well as any other required equipment•Supervise machines and make any adjustments to produce better results.•Ensure work meets quality standards.•Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes.•Practice safety in all aspects of the job.•Look for any safety issues with equipment and/or processes.•Participate in safety improvement programs.What you'll bring•A combination of training and machining experience is required for this position. •High School diploma or GED required..
