6 months with possible extension Location

Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid (23 days per week in office) Pay Range

$50 to $62/hr Top Priority Skills Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in Aerospace, Defense, or Embedded Systems Nice to have: Knowledge of Secure Cyber Resilient Engineering (SCRE), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and/or an interest in cybersecurity

What You Will Be Doing

Work with core systems security teams to determine technologies and processes required to meet customer security and resiliency requirements Learn and apply secure cyber resilient engineering (SCRE) practices throughout the product lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support Collaborate with government agencies, customers, suppliers, and industry experts to align with system requirements Create digital models and utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to meet program expectations Develop and update systems security and resilience best practices, and help implement these practices across the organization

Basic Requirements

Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) + 1+ years of experience OR Masters degree in STEM with no experience OR PhD in STEM with no experience Must be a

U.S. citizen

with the ability to obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance

Preferred Requirements

Active security clearance Familiarity with systems security policies and standards such as: NIST SP 800-160 DO-326 DoDI 5000.8 Experience or strong interest in cybersecurity, including: Intrusion detection, digital forensics, and system recovery Risk assessment tools and methods Security solutions, policies, standards, and procedures Strong technical and soft skills: systems thinking, communication, time management, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams Eagerness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving objectives and emerging opportunities

Clearance Requirement

Active clearance preferred, or candidates with a clearance that can be

reactivated/renewed Not open to candidates who are only "eligible" without prior clearance
