Overview
Territory Manager - Wilmington South NC at Reynolds American Inc. Reynolds American is seeking a self-motivated Territory Manager to drive growth in the Wilmington South, NC territory. You will be responsible for growing brands by building strong, lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders. If you are passionate about taking on responsibility, holding yourself accountable, and making a significant impact, this is the role for you. Responsibilities Achieve commercial sales and growth objectives within the territory to support Division, Region, and Company goals. Develop a local strategy and business plan for meeting territory objectives, including identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential retail outlets for product sales opportunities. Develop a strategy for product placement and Point of Sale (POS) materials to optimize sales and market visibility. Achieve customer/consumer engagement skills certification and demonstrate mastery within the territory. Build client willingness and capability to collaborate with Reynolds American on key business fundamentals to accelerate market growth. Develop and maintain business relationships with local chains and distributors to increase sales and promote Reynolds brands through personal correspondence, retail visits, and presentations. Sell/execute the 5Ps of presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling to customers and adult nicotine consumers. Analyze the territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customer opportunities. Collaborate with the Division Manager on territory-specific sales planning and product initiatives to improve market share.
Qualifications
Ability to communicate with and engage retail customers and adult nicotine consumers in person. Effective influencing, sales, negotiation, and marketing skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills. Project management skills. Good business judgment. Leadership, self-motivation, and initiative. Persistence, resilience, and results orientation. Conflict management and problem-solving for mutually beneficial results. Strategic and financial acumen to identify, evaluate, and act on growth opportunities.
Opportunities
Ability to travel frequently. Ability to drive up to 200 miles per day. Valid U.S. drivers license and safe driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to climb and work from heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet. Ability to access and work in limited and confined spaces. Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and advertising displays. Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications
Bachelors degree or comparable work experience preferred.

Annual Salary: $68,700 Bonus Target: 20%
