The LaSalle Network Inc
SAP BW Project Manager (Contract)
LaSalle Network has partnered with a highly-regarded consultancy based in Chicago seeking an SAP BW Project Manager to join a strategic client engagement focused on SAP transformation. This role will support a high-impact initiative evaluating migration options for a legacy SAP Business Warehouse (BW) environment, with future phases expected to expand into warehouse management and broader S/4HANA transformation. Key Responsibilities
Lead or support the development of analytical frameworks to assess on-prem vs. cloud deployment options for SAP BW. Evaluate migration paths from BW 7.5 to BW/4HANA on Private Cloud Edition (PCE). Conduct performance-level analysis across SAP modules to support strategic decision-making. Assess options including RISE with SAP, public cloud (AWS, Azure), hybrid cloud, and deployment strategies (greenfield, brownfield, selective data transition). Deliver pros/cons analysis of various migration and deployment scenarios. Engage directly with client stakeholders and operate independently in a fast-paced consulting environment. Contribute to service level analysis and long-term transformation planning. Qualifications
Proven experience with SAP BW migration assessments, especially BW 7.5 to BW/4HANA. Strong understanding of SAP architecture, including ECC, HANA, and cloud deployment models. Familiarity with RISE with SAP and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Must have experience with CPG manufacturing. Ability to develop and apply analytical frameworks for IT strategy decisions. Comfortable in client-facing roles with minimal oversight. Experience with performance analysis and service level evaluation across SAP modules. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a top-tier consultancy on a strategic, transformation initiative. This is a contract role expected to last 3 months with extension potential through 2026. The role may require infrequent travel to Texas and is otherwise fully remote. If you're a results-driven leader ready to make a significant impact on a high-visibility transformation, we encourage you to apply. Compensation: $80 per hour, commensurate with experience. LaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
