is a crucial partner to the Chief Operating Officer. REACH Riverside is seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to support our COO. In this role, youll not just manage schedulesyoull anticipate needs, streamline operations, and enable the COO to focus on mission-critical priorities. Your work will strengthen organizational results and expand our impact across Wilmington. REACH Riverside serves as the driving force behind the revitalization of the Riverside neighborhood in Wilmington, DE. Guided by the Purpose Built Communities model, our work centers on high-quality mixed-income housing, a cradle-to-college-and-career pipeline, community health, and economic vitality. Together with Kingswood Community Center (KCC) and The Warehouse (TWH), we form the WRK Group, a coalition dedicated to creating a thriving, sustainable future for Riverside residents. Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr What Youll Do

Manage the COOs calendar, meetings, and travel logistics. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports. Monitor and prioritize incoming communications; ensure timely follow-up. Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, partners, and external stakeholders. Support HR, operations, safety/security, facilities, and cross-departmental initiatives. Assist with organizational social media activities, including drafting posts and coordinating content. Organize and coordinate executive meetings, retreats, and special events. Attend meetings with or on behalf of the COO; take notes and track action items. What Were Looking For

Education & Experience

Associates degree in business, communications, or related field required; Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of executive-level administrative support experience. Proven project management experience with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project tracking tools, and virtual meeting platforms. Experience with social media accounts preferred. Nonprofit or community-based organization experience a plus. Skills & Abilities

Anticipates needs, solves problems, and manages competing priorities. Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally. Builds trust and positive relationships with staff, board members, and partners. Maintains discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters. Demonstrates adaptability, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail. Supervisory Responsibility

This position may manage interns or administrative support staff as needed. Work Environment & Schedule

Schedule:

MondayFriday, 8:30 a.m.5:00 p.m., with evening and weekend availability occasionally required. Travel:

Local travel within the region is required. Occasional out-of-town and overnight travel will be necessary for meetings, conferences, site visits, and other engagements, with the Executive Assistant accompanying the COO as needed. Physical Demands:

Work includes office tasks and community engagement. Must be able to move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, transport materials up to 20 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations available. How We Evaluate Performance
