Do you enjoy connecting with people, supporting communities, and making a difference in access to healthcare services? We are seeking a motivated
Bilingual English/Spanish Outreach Representative
to join our team and support beneficiaries across California. This role combines meaningful face-to-face interaction with community members and the opportunity to help individuals and families better understand their healthcare options.
A personal vehicle and valid auto insurance are required for travel. Mileage is reimbursed from your assigned home base to designated outreach sites.
What You'll Do
Conduct in-person outreach, education, and enrollment support for healthcare beneficiaries through group and individual presentations. Explain managed care options, assist with enrollment and disenrollment, and guide beneficiaries through medical exemptions and waiver inquiries. Build positive relationships with county staff, community groups, and program partners. Provide program information at health fairs and community events. Support and mentor new representatives while collaborating with leadership on training needs. Accurately document all outreach activities and update customer records in the database. Identify barriers to care and connect beneficiaries with resources such as childcare, transportation, medical services, or vocational training. Meet program performance and quality standards while following established policies and procedures. What We're Looking For
Bilingual in English and Spanish
(required). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to individuals and groups. Self-motivated with the ability to manage schedules, travel, and independently support beneficiaries. Detail-oriented with experience in data entry, documentation, and case management. Comfortable engaging with diverse populations and promoting community health programs. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
