Position Title: Construction Scheduler I – Community College Projects - Owners Team Program: Los Angeles Community College District – Build LACCD Program Approximate Start Date: October 2025 DACM Project Management, Inc. A successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the DACM contract with the Los Angeles Community College (LACCD) Build LACCD Facilities Construction Program. Salary: $133,000 to $137,000 per annum DACM employee benefits include: 26 days a year time off with pay, 401K program, medical and dental insurance, professional development program, bonuses, and other benefits. Position Functions and Duties: Develop project schedules in alignment with established program master schedule execution Assist in updating and validating the month-to-month program master schedule in collaboration with the Construction Project Team. Review contractor schedules to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry Evaluate and report on contractor schedule updates (weekly/monthly), draft narratives, and present findings to management. Assist in reviewing time impact analyses to evaluate schedule changes and their effects on project Assist in reviewing and evaluating contractors’ recovery Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses to monitor schedule performance. Prepare and submit monthly Schedule Variance Reports to highlight deviations and support decision-making. Identify scheduling issues during project execution and recommend timely, practical, and innovative Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and validate schedule Assist in developing cost-loaded schedules for accurate cash-flow Monitor actual costs against the cash-flow forecast to track financial performance and identify Collaborate closely with the Lead Scheduler, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to implement schedule updates. Provide scheduling support to other team members as needed Minimum Requirements 3 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or other related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis. Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering and scheduling. Experience with time impact analysis. Experience with construction claims and change orders. Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties. Excellent oral and written communication
