About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to lead its fundraising efforts and ensure the organization meets its budget and advances its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing development strategy, donor engagement, and leading a team that fosters relationships with various supporters. This hands-on leadership role involves setting the vision and strategy for development work, continually seeking new opportunities for revenue and donor cultivation, and collaborating with the President to create fiscal year income forecasts and goals. The Vice President will also be involved in directing marketing efforts to enhance brand recognition, grow donor loyalty, and support organizational growth.

Candidates for the Vice President of Development position at the company should be experienced nonprofit fundraising leaders with a proven track record in team leadership and staff development. A bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Proficiency in Donor or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is essential.
