Job Title: L1 Monitoring Center Analyst Location: Hybrid - Evansville, IN Contract Length: 6-month contract with extension and possible conversion Salary and Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $35 - $37 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Role Overview We are looking for an L1 Monitoring Center Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a monitoring/observability environment, ensuring continuous monitoring of critical systems across on-premises and cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure). This role involves incident response, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain system health and performance. Must-Have Skills 2-3 years' experience in IT monitoring, system operations, or technical support roles Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Big Panda, Grafana, OpsRamp, Elastic, AppDynamics (or similar) Experience with ticketing/documentation platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and IT infrastructure (servers, databases, cloud services) Familiarity with AWS & Azure monitoring tasks/tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) Basic knowledge of cloud resource validation (VMs, storage, services) IT Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) are a plus.
