Job Title: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Mammography Place of Work (City/State): Blackfeet Community Hospital, Browning, Montana Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of a 4 years extension Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM No weekends or on-call required License / Certifications: ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum Qualification / Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist within the last 3 years Must be proficient in operating mammography equipment and performing digital imaging procedures Experience with FDA/MQSA compliance and ACR standards Familiarity with PACS and electronic health records (EHR) is preferred Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with FDA and ACR standards Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging; explain procedures to ensure patient comfort Conduct daily quality control tests on imaging equipment and maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and IHS policies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for integrated patient care Participate in regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
