Job Summary
We are seeking a Tow Truck Driver to join our team! As a Tow Truck Driver, you will respond to calls from stranded motorists, providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. You will maintain accurate documentation, provide basic invoicing, and accept payments in the field. The ideal candidate has roadside assistance or vehicle repair experience, has driven a tow truck before, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area
- Assist clients professionally by performing minor repairs or recovering vehicles to designated locations
- Maintain the tow truck and equipment to ensure safety
- Keep detailed records of responded calls
- Present invoices to clients and accept payments in the field
Qualifications
- Must hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the state
- Clean driving record with safe driving skills
- Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing tires
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
