Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and job costing.

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial documentation.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and support year-end audit processes.

• Partner with project managers to monitor budgets and cost allocations.

• Ensure compliance with union reporting and labor cost tracking.

• Assist with tax filings and regulatory submissions.

• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry.

• Union accounting experience is required.

• Strong grasp of job costing and construction billing practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
