Location: Avon, IN – On-site, Full-Time

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000

Overview

A rapidly growing food production and manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing accounting. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production variances to support operational decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for audits and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Support process improvements and internal controls related to manufacturing accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment (food production experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, standard business hours
• Fully on-site; not eligible for remote work
