Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner
• Gather information to assess the needs of Service members, Veterans, and their families
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries and requests effectively
• Handle crisis and abusive calls with professionalism and efficiency
• Accurately record all pertinent information from calls

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical or hospital call center
• Minimum of one year of experience in triage, care management, motivational interviewing, and crisis counseling
• Fluent in English and/or Spanish, both oral and written
• Ability to listen to and empathize with Service members, Veterans, and others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in handling crisis situations and abusive calls
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage call time effectively
