At Voda Cleaning & Restoration we specialize in cleaning and restoration services for homes and businesses, including carpet and floor cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, water or storm damage restoration, mold mitigation, and odor removal.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services offered by the company.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Be willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical skills: Adequate math skills with the ability to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer skills: Basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or experience in specialty cleaning (e.g., Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning).
• Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
• Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) – preferred but not required.
• Opportunities to advance into: Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT).

Additional Information

The starting pay is $24 to $28 hourly depending on experience, with opportunities for bonuses and merit increases as the company grows. Pay and rate increases reflect experience and certifications gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos.
