Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining. We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Clackamas, OR.
This position is 100% onsite with consistent, flexible office hours.
Candidates must currently reside in the Portland metro area. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to provide reliable support to keep our technology running smoothly. The hourly pay rate is $24.00-$30.00 (DOE).

Position Summary
As the IT Support Specialist, you will ensure smooth computer operations so end users can efficiently complete their work.
Responsibilities
- Handle IT support requests by receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving through the IT ticketing system.
- Respond to end-user inquiries via phone and email with professionalism.
- Gather detailed information about issues and build rapport with users.
- Prioritize and escalate problems as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools and online resources.
- Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, antivirus, and perform preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals.
- Verify fixes and follow up to ensure user satisfaction.
- Analyze trends to prevent recurring issues and develop user guides and FAQs.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of computer hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices).
- Experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Skilled in supporting applications like Microsoft Office, antivirus, Adobe, CAD, and scanner software.
- Proficient with diagnostic utilities and technical research.
Education and Experience
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems, 2-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or a similar technical role. Equivalent work experience or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) will also be considered.
