Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg position with night shifts and strong Med Surg background required.Job Details•Position located in a Medical-Surgical unit with 20 rooms and 35 beds,•Patient population includes Med Surg patients of all ages,•Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:5, can be 1:6 during emergent surgeries,•Uses Alaris IV pumps, Hill-rom beds and call system, Kangaroo pumps, Quadramed Pyxis medication management,•12-hour night shifts required,•Weekend shifts required,•On-call may be necessary for low census situations,•Floating required to ER, post-partum, and stepdown units for assistance (no patient assignment),Job Requirements•Current RN license required,•BLS and PALS certifications required,•Minimum 2 years recent Med Surg nursing experience,Additional Information•Initial orientation includes HR and education day, restraint training, and one shift of shadowing,•No specific scrub color required,•Travelers cannot expect block or set schedules; must help fill gaps in coverage,•Facility accepts local travelers without a radius restriction,),•hash,:• ,
