American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant for a CVOR position requiring vein harvesting skills and experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures.Job Details•Position is in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital,•Work primarily with cardiovascular surgical procedures including EVAR, CABG, thoracotomy, wedge resections, and pericardial windows,•Day shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with 8.5-hour shifts,•Uses Epic EMR, with prior Epic experience preferred,Job Requirements•Active Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant credential with experience in vein harvesting,•Wisconsin or compact RN license required and must be in hand for consideration,•Previous experience performing EVAR, CABG, thoracotomy, wedge resections, and pericardial windows required,•Must not have a latex allergy,•Must be able to provide two supervisor references after offer,•Must have been separated from the health system for at least one year to be eligible to return as a traveler,•Locals accepted if living within a 50-mile radius, but may be offered different compensation,Additional Information•Responsibilities include assisting surgeons with complex cardiovascular surgeries and harvesting veins,•Training modules must be completed during orientation and are typically 3-4 hours,•Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment,•Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required,•Background check considerations are made on a case by case basis,),•hash,:• ,
