American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with endoscopic vein harvesting and Epic charting experience for a day shift contract.Job Details•Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical First Assistant,•Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 5x8 hour shifts,•Perform endoscopic vein harvesting, open vein harvesting, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, and CABG procedures,•Uses Epic for charting and documentation,•Assignment is a 13-week contract,•Expected to float within scope as needed,•No cafeteria is available onsite, but refrigerator and microwave are provided,•Free parking in any unrestricted space,Job Requirements•Current CSFA certification from NBSTSA, ABSA, or NSAA required,•Valid KY or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,•BLS certification required,•Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required,•Travel experience is required,•Must be credentialed through Medical Affairs for privileging prior to start,•Experience with Epic charting is required,•COVID-19 (medical or religious exemptions considered) and flu vaccination required,•Must be willing to float within surgical scope,•At least 2 supervisor references required for consideration,Additional Information•Provide intraoperative assistance during cardiovascular surgeries including vein harvesting and minimally invasive procedures,•Must wear scrubs or apparel free from agency or brand logos,•Associates in direct patient care must have natural fingernails and no nail extensions; polish is acceptable if nails are under 1/4 inch,•No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted,•Must submit all requests for time off with initial consideration,•Holiday coverage may be required during the contract,•Modules may be assigned at the start or throughout the contract and can take up to 12 hours to complete,•First-time travelers will not be considered; prior travel assignment required,•Locals within 75 miles are accepted,•Former staff must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible as a traveler,•If the assignment exceeds two years, Kentucky Certified Surgical Assistant (KCSA) credentialing will eventually be needed,),•hash,:• ,
