The Swing Shift Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the readiness of mining processing equipment. This position is ideal for those skilled in inspection, repair, and maintenance of processing and conveying systems. In addition to performing preventative maintenance, you will prepare essential operating reports. A $3,500.00 sign-on bonus is available for this role!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commit to promoting and following safety policies in all work environments.
Schedule and carry out preventative maintenance on plant equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
Manage an inventory of necessary replacement parts.
Inspect and repair plant equipment, reporting findings to the Supervisor.
Execute emergency repairs on production equipment to minimize plant downtime.
Follow all safety, environmental, and company protocols diligently and complete all required documentation punctually.
Schedule: Shift differential pay; Sundays off.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Experience:
Hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance in industrial settings is preferred. Skills in stick welding, arc welding, light fabrication, and the use of hand tools are essential. Experience operating skid-steers, man-lifts, and other industrial equipment is a plus. Computer Skills:
Basic proficiency in computer use. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must strictly adhere to safety protocols and use Amrize approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
