In this position, you will be the driving force in designing and improving our frameworks for IT, cyber, and data risk, ensuring they align with our enterprise risk management strategy and regulatory requirements. You will take the lead in overseeing our tech and data risk management practices, providing independent oversight and guidance. Your responsibilities will include defining our future strategy and evolving our risk governance framework. Collaborating closely with IT, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and compliance teams will be essential. You will play a vital role in institutionalizing data risk governance, developing policies, standards, and controls to treat data as a valuable strategic asset. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of progressive experience in IT and cyber risk or data governance within financial services or regulated industries. You should have a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing governance or risk programs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of regulatory expectations and risk frameworks, have successfully built or matured governance programs, and possess experience with GRC technology platforms. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, or equivalent are highly valued. This role requires a strategic leader with the ability to independent judgment and regulatory fluency.
