This position plays a crucial role in the achievement of our retail stores' success. Customer Service Representatives collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs and provide them with expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products. You will also be responsible for swiftly addressing any customer concerns to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Staying informed about product features while upholding the quality and visual standards of the products and store is essential. Achieving remarkable customer service and consistently meeting the store's sales objectives are key responsibilities of this role. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #708231, located at: 401 W Intl Airport Rd Ste 1A, Anchorage, AK 99518. This is a part-time position with a starting pay of $18.00/hr. You will engage with customers directly, including minors, and handle cash and various payment methods, along with access to store merchandise and equipment, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and suggesting appropriate products and services Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers Process sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals Maintain organized work order files and formulas Retrieve and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications Organize and clean store equipment Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed Maintain the appearance of assigned areas and ensure products are in stock Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss available options Comply with inventory control procedures Provide suggestions to improve sales Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship Valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends Internal candidates must have an acceptable performance appraisal Completion of required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position is necessary for internal applicants Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service Experience selling paint and related products is advantageous Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is a plus Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in more than one language is beneficial Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset
