Position Overview We are looking for a talented Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on commercial real estate and real estate-owned portfolios. As a key contributor, you will utilize your expertise in commercial real estate, credit fixed-income assets, and capital markets to enhance our investment strategies. In this role, you will manage and monitor commercial real estate mandates, conduct thorough financial analyses, and support the development of compelling investment theses. Collaboration with our investment team will be essential as you oversee properties and actively monitor the performance of loan assets. Qualifications A minimum of 6 years of direct experience, with 3-5 years in portfolio analysis or management support specific to the commercial real estate sector. An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree and/or CFA is a strong plus. A proven track record in financial modeling, CRE loan, and property financial analyses. Strong understanding of the investment monitoring and oversight requirements within insurance company portfolios. Experience in investment accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory matters related to real estate and commercial loans is highly valued. Proficient in data management with advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical abilities are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with Japanese insurance company investing and regulatory risk frameworks is a plus.
