Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Real Estate Accounting to spearhead and manage all financial and accounting operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee property accounting, financial reporting, operational accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and tax compliance support. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring the financial performance at the property level, leading a dedicated team of 6-8 staff, and managing our third-party property accounting relationships. You will also play a crucial role in enhancing accounting procedures, developing insightful reporting metrics, and implementing financial controls that align with company policies. To apply for the Vice President of Real Estate Accounting, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or finance. A CPA and experience in public accounting are highly valued. We require a minimum of 8 years of multi-family accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Familiarity with Yardi and RealPage software is a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate will showcase a proven track record in preparing yearly budgets, conducting quarterly forecasts, and will exhibit strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
