Premier Service is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Generalist to join our Team! Premier Service provides elite landscape architecture design and maintenance services to commercial and residential clients in Chicagoland. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our workforce through effective HR practices, employee relations, and compliance. This bilingual role (English/Spanish) is essential in bridging communication across our teams and ensuring a positive employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. Responsibilities
Administer day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll questions Serve as a trusted point of contact for Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring clear communication and cultural sensitivity Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives Assist with payroll coordination and HRIS data integrity Facilitate training sessions on safety, company policies, and HR procedures Collaborate with leadership to promote employee engagement and retention strategies Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a labor-intensive or field-based industry Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms PHR certification is a plus Benefits
