Our client is a specialized national plaintiffs law firm with over 70 attorneys and 300 years of combined experience, focusing exclusively on mesothelioma (asbestos). Managing over 2,000 cases across all 50 states, the firm is dedicated to efficiently processing claims and maximizing recovery for clients affected by mesothelioma. All attorneys within the firm are either Associates or Partners. Position and Responsibilities

A Litigation Attorney is sought to assist individuals harmed by corporate misconduct. The cases handled are intricate and dynamic, involving multiple defendants and substantial settlements and verdicts. The firm maintains a collaborative, accessible atmosphere where teamwork is paramount to effectively representing clients. As a Litigation Attorney, you will receive comprehensive training in mesothelioma (asbestos - product liability) litigation if you come from a personal injury or related practice, and swiftly assume responsibilities for case management. Tasks include conducting written discovery, depositions, motion drafting and advocacy, and trial participation as second chair. While prior trial experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The role involves significant client interaction and requires empathy and rapport with families from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

Must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution and be admitted to the FL bar. Specific medical-related litigation is ideal; plaintiff PI (personal injury) or related practice is also suitable. Once up to speed, attorneys will usually work on 15-18 cases, depending on complexity. The firm prefers to go to trial, with partners stepping in at that stage. Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing. Ability to foster and sustain meaningful client connections. Capable of working independently and collaboratively in advocating for injured clients. Comfortable operating under tight deadlines within a fast-paced setting. Dedication to plaintiff advocacy with sound judgement.
