About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the Development Vice President, where you will lead the charge in enhancing our fundraising initiatives during a pivotal growth phase. We are looking for a passionate and visionary leader who is committed to our mission and has a proven history of driving substantial philanthropic revenue through individual, foundation, corporate, and legacy giving. You'll play a crucial role in collaborating with our CEO, Board, and dedicated lay leadership to broaden our support network and make a lasting impact.
Key responsibilities include crafting and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at securing major gifts and managing an exceptional development team. To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 8 years of nonprofit development experience with a proven record of increasing fundraising success. We are searching for a hands-on, inspirational leader who is an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills, capable of engaging with individuals across all levels of the organization.
Additionally, a deep passion for social justice and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are essential. You should be prepared to transition seamlessly from strategy to execution, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, while promoting a culture of stewardship and gratitude for our donors. Travel will be limited to less than 10%.
