We’re building a more open world. Join us. Manager, Learning Transformation The Learning Experience Design (LED) team is part of Expedia Group’s Agent Effectiveness organization. Our mission is to accelerate and unify how agents are enabled across the globe. We design scalable, AI-powered learning solutions that improve agent performance, speed time-to-proficiency, and enhance the traveler experience. The Manager, Learning Transformation will play a critical role within the LED team, focusing on process design, workflow optimization, and AI readiness. You will help define how learning is delivered reliably and at scale, reduce friction between teams, and embed agile, automation-ready practices into the heart of Agent Effectiveness. You’ll be a foundational member of a new function within the Learning Experience Design team, shaping how Expedia Group enables agents in an AI-powered future. Your work will accelerate delivery cycles, standardize how work flows across L&D, and reduce redundant effort through automation. As automation reshapes service roles, this position ensures human agents are enabled for higher-order problem solving, empathy, and resolution skills, supported by AI-driven systems. This role is a chance to design for scale, drive adoption of new ways of working, and make a measurable impact on how thousands of agents learn and serve travelers worldwide. In this role you will: Design, document, and enable standard workflows that streamline how training, knowledge, and communications are delivered across L&D. Partner with stakeholders to identify friction points, re-engineer processes, and remove silos through automation and agile practices. Create and maintain agile process standards, templates, and influence Jira workflows that evolve with business needs. Lead hands-on efforts to embed AI into knowledge and training workflows, including metadata automation, intelligent surfacing, and workflow orchestration. Build scalable governance frameworks for AI adoption, ensuring consistency, trust, and long-term maintainability. Continuously identify and implement opportunities to eliminate manual work through automation. Champion agile practices (e.g., backlogs, sprint cadences, retrospectives) across L&D and Programs, fostering faster delivery cycles and adaptability. Act as an enabler and coach for agile behaviors, ensuring practices are embedded in systems and tools. Serve as the connective tissue between Programs, Knowledge and Training Content, trainers, Operations, and Product & Tech, driving alignment and visibility across teams. Partner with platform owners (LMS, CRM, CMS, AI tools) to align processes with evolving system capabilities. Establish feedback loops to measure adoption and continuously improve workflows. Experience and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, or program operations within complex or enterprise environments. Proven expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with experience coaching or embedding agile practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex processes into scalable, adoptable workflows. Excellent facilitation and communication skills; able to align diverse stakeholders and influence without direct authority. Comfortable balancing strategy and execution — you can set a roadmap and then execute it hands-on. (Preferred) Experience with Jira administration, workflow automation, or AI-enabled process improvements. #LI-MC1 Compensation varies by location.
