Reports To: Business Manager
Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Position Summary
Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish seeks a Business Office Assistant to assist the Business Manager and office staff with financial and administrative operations for the parish and school. This position plays a vital role in financial processing and reporting, tuition management, and providing administrative support for parish operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process parish contributions and prepare donor acknowledgment letters.
Manage tuition billing, FACTS payment plans, and related adjustments.
Maintain parishioner, donor, and sacramental records in the database.
Manage census updates and assist with new parishioner registrations (as needed).
Support annual parish outreach mailings and bulk communications.
Provide reports and data to support parish ministries and events.
Generate year-end giving statements and assist with financial reporting.
Assist with sacramental data entry and related communications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong accuracy in data entry.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with CRM systems or databases a plus (training provided).
Practicing Catholic in good standing who embraces the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
