Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that fabricated items conform to approved drawings, Codes/Standards, and quality requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector

Day Shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm) Monday – Friday
*
No Travel
Duties:
This position is critical in maintaining high-quality standards in the production process and ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations.
Inspection of Subassemblies and Products : Ensure that the materials, processes, and dimensions of subassemblies, assemblies, and completed products meet the specifications outlined in approved drawings.
Interpretation of Technical Drawings and Standards : Understand and apply shop fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and dimensions.
Weld Inspection : Inspect welds for size, location, and visual quality, ensuring they align with the requirements of the approved drawings and relevant codes such as
AWS D1.1 .
Final Assembly Inspection : Review finished assembled products to ensure proper assembly and that all components are included and functional.
Receiving Inspection of Raw Materials : Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, including pipe, plate, welding consumables, and hardware, to verify Material Test Reports (MMTRs) and Certificates of Conformance.
