In this pivotal role within our Security Architecture Group, you will be the go-to expert for designing and implementing security software applications and hardware platforms in the Albertsons environment. Your collaboration with networking, engineering, and business leaders will ensure that security is embedded from the outset, enhancing our security posture without disrupting development.
Main Responsibilities:
Define and guide research, design, and proof of value for security applications and hardware.
Stay ahead of emerging threats by evaluating and implementing advanced technologies.
Act as the liaison for the InfoSec Architecture and Innovation group across the organization.
Collaborate with leadership on strategic roadmaps and cybersecurity practices.
Understand and effectively communicate the cost and business impact of Zero Trust deployments.
Develop and implement Zero Trust standards and strategies, including documentation and presentations.
Support cloud-native networking and navigate orchestration and automation for modern network architecture.
Enhance Infrastructure Security knowledge through mentorship and continuous improvement recommendations.
We are seeking candidates who have:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in service engineering, infrastructure security, program management, or network engineering.
At least 5 years of expertise in SASE architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and managing large network flow diagrams.
Solid capabilities in conducting enterprise security reviews and access models in cloud environments.
Experience with EDR/XDR, PKI, SSL/TLS, NAC, and Microsoft Certificate Services.
Familiarity with security auditing processes such as PCI, SOX, and HIPAA.
Knowledge of industry benchmarks and certifications relevant to Zero Trust architecture.
Hands-on proficiency in automation tools like Python (Ansible) and PowerShell.
This position is based in Pleasanton, CA. Salary range: $157,900 to $205,300 annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Exceptional candidates may receive some flexibility. Eligible Associates may also participate in a quarterly bonus program.
