We are looking for a skilled Contract Director to lead the sourcing lifecycle for medical device agreements within HealthTrust's group purchasing organization. In this role, you will manage sourcing initiatives with medium to high complexity and oversee a significant portfolio with an annual spend of $200m-$350m. Your expertise in negotiation will be crucial in securing industry-leading pricing and terms, enhancing contract portfolios, and driving positive outcomes. Job Summary and Qualifications Conduct market research, develop effective sourcing strategies, prepare RFI/RFP/Bids, negotiate favorable contracts, and initiate agreements. Present sourcing strategies and award recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and various functional teams. Collaborate with customer-led Advisory Boards consisting of clinicians and supply chain executives to finalize contract strategies. Identify potential risks and opportunities within each category. Understand member needs to devise contracting strategies that maximize outcomes and mitigate risks. Formulate and adapt a clear vision throughout the sourcing process. Align internal stakeholders with the proposed strategies. Plan and manage project timelines independently across various categories. Maintain operational details in the Contract Lifecycle Management system. Translate objectives into project priorities and adhere to established timelines. Analyze supplier dynamics and assess market trends to make informed decisions. Negotiate critical contract terms regarding pricing, liabilities, confidentiality, and performance obligations. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers throughout the sourcing process. Utilize strong analytical skills to develop and interpret financial models. Facilitate collaboration with internal teams to align on resource needs and contracting initiatives. Engage with customers to address concerns and articulate strategic plans. Communicate effectively regarding bid processes and negotiation statuses. Effectively influence stakeholders to secure desired outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance. A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations, encompassing the full lifecycle. Experience in healthcare supply chain operations is preferred. Ability to work under pressure with professionalism, interpret complex instructions, and devise innovative solutions independently.
