Industry Food & Beverages Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is actively seeking a Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance to spearhead the development and implementation of robust quality standards for our manufacturing processes and products. This critical position will involve comprehensive oversight of quality performance through tracking, analytics, and continuous process improvements focusing on internal manufacturing quality, distribution center inspections, and external product quality. The successful candidate will drive the transition from Quality Control (QC) to Quality Assurance (QA), ensuring effective interaction with internal teams and external partners. Primary responsibilities will include establishing and sustaining quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls; collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements; and partnering with research and development during new product introductions. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management, preferably within food manufacturing. Essential expertise in lean manufacturing and plant transformation is required. Candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives, possess strong problem-solving skills, and excel in navigating a matrix organization. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is essential, with a Master's degree preferred. Certifications in lean management, Six Sigma, and project management will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, action-oriented, and exhibit exceptional leadership and change management abilities.
