About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Quality Assurance to oversee the development, deployment, and adherence to quality standards for manufacturing and products. This executive will be responsible for tracking, analytics, and process improvements related to internal manufacturing quality, distribution center inspections, and external quality. The role involves leading continuous improvement efforts, including the transition from QC to QA, and requires regular interaction with operations, sales, customer service, and external customers. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and maintaining quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls, as well as working with various teams to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

Applicants for the Vice President, Quality Assurance position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of quality management experience, with a preference for those with over 10 years' in lean manufacturing, particularly in the deployment of lean operating systems. Experience in plant transformation, change management, and a background in food manufacturing are essential. The role demands expert knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and the application of various principles, as well as familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being preferred, and certifications in lean, Six Sigma, and project management are desired. Strong leadership, presentation, business acumen, and conflict resolution skills are also required, along with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and a proven track record of driving quality initiatives.
