Position Summary

Nevada Dental Benefits Ltd. is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of patient-centered care in our dental office. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual who encourages patients to take an active role in maintaining excellent oral health as part of their overall wellness. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and customer service in a supportive and professional environment.


Key Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care

  • Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures and exams

  • Greet and prepare patients for their visit with a focus on comfort and customer service

  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

  • Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options as directed by the dentist or hygienist

  • Assist with caries management, including fluoride treatments and individualized oral hygiene instructions

  • Take and scan dental radiographs as prescribed

  • Perform assigned lab work

Administrative Tasks

  • Accurately document clinical notes in the electronic health record system

  • Support disease management initiatives, including participation in health fairs and patient outreach programs

  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Attending Dentist, Chief Clinical Officer, or Dental Practice Manager

Compliance

  • Adhere to CDC infection control guidelines and proper instrument sterilization protocols

  • Follow OSHA standards, including those related to bloodborne pathogens


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant

  • Completion of a dental assisting program from an accredited institution

  • Current CPR certification

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience with dental practice management software


Compensation & Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with eligibility for company benefits offered to employees at similar levels of employment.
