Position SummaryNevada Dental Benefits Ltd. is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of patient-centered care in our dental office. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and customer service in a supportive and professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient CarePrepare treatment rooms for dental procedures and examsGreet and prepare patients for their visit with a focus on comfort and customer serviceProvide chairside assistance to the dentist during proceduresEducate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options as directed by the dentist or hygienistAssist with caries management, including fluoride treatments and individualized oral hygiene instructionsTake and scan dental radiographs as prescribedPerform assigned lab workAdministrative TasksAccurately document clinical notes in the electronic health record systemSupport disease management initiatives, including participation in health fairs and patient outreach programsCarry out other duties as assigned by the Attending Dentist, Chief Clinical Officer, or Dental Practice ManagerComplianceAdhere to CDC infection control guidelines and proper instrument sterilization protocolsFollow OSHA standards, including those related to bloodborne pathogensQualificationsRequired:Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental AssistantCompletion of a dental assisting program from an accredited institutionCurrent CPR certificationBilingual in English and SpanishPreferred (not required):Experience with dental practice management softwareCompensation & BenefitsSalary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
