The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property-level accounting, including but not limited to, office, retail, industrial, and commercial properties. This role involves managing capital expenditure reporting, financial reporting, operational accounting, budgets, and FP&A. The Head of Property Accounting will also be in charge of the outsourced accounting teams and will be expected to handle various ad hoc responsibilities as they arise. Applicants for the Head of Property Accounting position at the company should have a strong background in real estate accounting and a deep understanding of the financial aspects of different property types. The role requires a high level of proficiency in managing budgets, and FP&A, and a proven track record in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with outsourced teams and be able to demonstrate the ability to handle a diverse range of accounting tasks. A degree in accounting or finance is essential, and a professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable.
