Product Manager

Vecna Robotics seeks a Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of integrated software and hardware solutions that solve complex customer challenges. The Product Manager plays a central role in shaping product strategy, defining roadmaps, and guiding execution across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

The ideal candidate for this role has strong product management skills with proven ability to take products from concept to market, a deep understanding of warehouse operations and customer workflows, experience collaborating with innovation or advanced development teams, and the communication and leadership skills to align cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals.

Reporting to the Director of Product, this is a full-time, salaried role based in Waltham, MA. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

In this role, the Product Manager will manage and support: Product Strategy & Roadmap

Define and maintain the product roadmap for integrated software and hardware solutions. Ensure product plans align with company goals, market dynamics, and customer needs.

Customer Discovery

Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and use cases. Translate customer insights into prioritized product features and specifications.

Execution & Delivery

Write product requirements, epics, and user stories for engineering and design teams. Collaborate with engineering to guide development, testing, and release of new features and improvements. Lead prototype cycles, review test results, and drive iterations for hardware and software deliverables. Maintain and update user-facing documentation, including user manuals, training manuals, product datasheets, and application notes Create and manage sales and customer presentations to effectively communicate product value propositions. Develop and maintain demonstration materials to support sales teams and customer engagements

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure successful product launches. Provide timely updates, status reports, and presentations to leadership. Manage vendor relationships and track hardware component costs as needed.

Continuous Improvement

Use data (qualitative and quantitative) to measure product performance and refine priorities. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline such as Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of product management with exposure to both software and hardware product delivery Warehouse operations or supply chain experience strongly preferred Previous experience with embedded systems, industrial automation, and knowledge of safety and regulatory standards is highly desirable Proven track record of bringing products from concept through market launch Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate market requirements while balancing tradeoffs across engineering, operations, project management and commercial teams Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all levels. Familiarity with UI/UX principles and best practices is a plus. Experience managing hardware prototypes, vendor relationships, or component costs is a bonus.
