This pivotal role involves providing strategic direction, executing transactions, and approving credits within the Special Assets portfolio. The successful candidate will have a sharp credit sense and proven ability to recognize potential issues early, driving effective crisis resolution. You will collaborate closely with senior team members, valuation teams, and various stakeholders, ensuring optimal recovery values for the portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement account and exposure strategies. Oversee everyday execution of remedial strategies. Mentor and guide junior staff to foster their development. Utilize strong analytical and decision-making skills to influence stakeholders effectively. Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in credit-oriented roles, particularly with large multinational financial services firms. A strong background in restructuring, distressed credit, corporate finance, and debt structuring is preferred. The ideal candidate will also hold a Senior Credit Officer approver designation or equivalent, showcasing excellent communication, leadership, and conflict management skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced degrees and relevant certifications valued.
