About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Vice President for our Special Assets team specializing in remediating high-risk credits. This team is dedicated to addressing the firm’s portfolios identified with regulatory concerns and higher risks of default. The chosen candidate will provide strategic direction, maximize recovery efforts, and maintain balance among internal and external interests. Key responsibilities will include developing account and exposure strategies, executing remedial transactions, and ensuring compliance to both regulatory requirements and internal policies.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust credit acumen, strong crisis management skills, and the ability to navigate complex conflicts while influencing diverse stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in credit-oriented roles, ideally within large multinational financial institutions. We seek a seasoned credit professional experienced in restructuring and distressed scenarios, with a proven track record in corporate finance, business strategy, and debt structuring.
We prefer candidates who have experience as a Senior Credit Officer approver or equivalent credit authority. Exceptional technical, interpersonal, and leadership abilities are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees and relevant certifications are advantageous. This role demands high character, personal integrity, and the capability to mentor junior team members.
