About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President Transactor to join its Special Assets team, which is dedicated to restructuring and managing high-risk credit portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, transaction execution, and approval for credits under the Special Assets portfolio. This role requires a professional with a strong credit sense, the ability to articulate views, and experience in early problem recognition and crisis resolution. The Transactor will work closely with senior team members, the valuation team, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the optimal recovery value of the portfolio is achieved. Key responsibilities include setting account and exposure strategies, managing the day-to-day execution of remedial strategies, and mentoring junior staff. The role demands a high level of analytical and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a credit-oriented role, with a preference for those who have worked with large multinational financial services firms. The ideal candidate will have a deep and relevant background in restructuring, distressed credit, or comparable expertise, and a proven track record in corporate finance, business strategy, and debt structuring. A Senior Credit Officer approver designation or equivalent credit authority is preferred. The role requires a professional with excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, who is capable of managing conflict and influencing a range of stakeholders. The candidate should be a team player, highly analytical, and able to make timely, well-supported decisions.
