Part 145 Chief Quality Inspector
to join our team based in
Miami, FL . You will oversee the inspection process of Red Channel parts and repaired items, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer standards. You will plan, direct, and execute inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the Repair Station. Meet the team:

Our Miami site is near downtown Miami, close to Miami International Airport (MIA), supporting our operations across the Americas, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The facility manufactures about 38,000 certified Eaton hose assemblies annually and hosts the regional FAA-145 repair station established in 2017. Establish policies and procedures for manuals, vendor qualification, audits, training programs, and representing the Repair Station during audits. Manage Corrective and Preventative Action programs, Quality Control standards, and FAA compliance. Analyze feedback to evaluate procedures and product quality, ensuring maintenance activities comply with SATAIRs FAA-approved systems and regulatory guidelines. Quality Surveillance (40%)
Maintain records per CFR regulations, oversee quality system policies, and ensure contract maintenance compliance. Manage programs for scrap parts, tool calibration, technical data, and inspection personnel qualification. Supervise inspection activities, ensure proper documentation, and oversee customer and FAA reports. Project Management (15%)
Lead small projects to improve process efficiency with global support. Additional Responsibilities (5%)
Coordinate Quality training and support warehouse activities as needed. Your Boarding Pass: Minimum 5 years of aviation experience, with at least 1 year in quality assurance, preferably as an aircraft mechanic or engineer. FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P). Knowledge of airworthiness regulations (FAR145, EASA145, CCAR145, SAR145) and quality standards (ISO9001, AS9100, AS9120). Associate degree or technical training in aerospace, engineering, or related fields preferred. Physical Requirements:
Ability to see, hear, speak, sit, stand, walk, and travel as needed, with appropriate PPE when on-site. Citizenship:
