Academic & Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our dental education team as an Academic & Clinical Coordinator. This pivotal role supports dental students, faculty, and patients by managing academic operations, clinical scheduling, and administrative workflows. Academic Support Collaborate with the Senior Associate Dean to manage D3 and D4 dental courses; assist with D1 and D2 as needed. Maintain and update course syllabi, curriculum documents, and electronic class schedules. Input and track final grades, assessments, and course evaluations. Support exam administration: input exams, proctor sessions, manage testing software, and coordinate student reviews. Assist with instructional design and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS). Monitor student progress, attendance, and remediation needs in partnership with faculty. Clinical Coordination Organize clinical schedules, including faculty teaching assignments and student appointments. Support patient recall and scheduling for students in the Comprehensive Care Unit (CCU). Track student clinical competencies and essential experiences. Cross-Functional Collaboration Communicate regularly with course directors, faculty, staff, and committee members across departments. Resolve scheduling conflicts, exam organization issues, and student concerns proactively. Maintain and coordinate Google calendars and curriculum documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required non-negotiable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) non-negotiable. Experience in academic or clinical workflows - ideally as a teaching assistant at a university for 2+ years non-negotiable. Ability to manage multiple priorities and foresee potential issues. Familiarity with dental producer codes and terminology (or willingness to learn quickly). Preferred Skills Knowledge of high-performance computing and project management software. Ability to create pivot tables and manage data entry in Excel. Background in instructional design or teaching support. Why Join Us?

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
